Our Story

It Started With Something Simple.

Deshani began with something very personal: I wanted jewelry I would genuinely enjoy wearing every day.

I have always loved the way a small piece of jewelry can change how you feel. A simple necklace with a white shirt. A pair of earrings with your hair pulled back. A little sparkle that makes an ordinary outfit feel more intentional.

Over time, I realized that the pieces I reached for most were rarely the loudest or the most extravagant.

They were refined, feminine, easy to wear, and beautiful in a way that never felt like too much.

That idea became the beginning of Deshani.

How I Found Korean Design

As I started exploring jewelry more deeply, I became increasingly drawn to Korean independent designers, studios, and the way they approach accessories.

What attracted me was not simply the idea of “Korean style.”

It was the attention to proportion, balance, detail, and restraint.

The size of a stone.
The curve of an earring.
Where a pendant falls along the collarbone.
The way light moves across polished metal.

These small decisions can completely change how a piece feels when it is worn.

Many Korean-inspired designs have a quiet elegance to them. They are noticeable without being overpowering, feminine without feeling overly delicate, and polished enough to elevate even the simplest outfit.

That feeling stayed with me.

And eventually, I began asking myself:

Why not create a collection for women who want that same sense of everyday refinement?

That question became Deshani.

Why I Created Deshani

I have never believed that beautiful jewelry has to feel unreachable.

And I do not believe jewelry should be saved only for weddings, anniversaries, dinners, or special occasions.

Sometimes, it can simply be the final thing you put on before leaving home.

A necklace.

A pair of earrings.

A ring that catches the light when you reach for your coffee.

Something small that makes you feel a little more like yourself.

That is why, when I choose pieces for Deshani, I do not only ask whether something looks beautiful.

I ask:

Would I actually want to wear this again and again?

Can it move naturally from work to dinner?

Can it be worn with denim, a knit sweater, a dress, or a blazer?

Will it still feel beautiful after the trend has passed?

Those are the pieces I want Deshani to be known for.

What I Look For

Deshani is inspired by modern Korean design and a softer approach to everyday elegance.

I am especially drawn to clean silhouettes, feminine proportions, warm gold tones, and the subtle brilliance of carefully set stones.

When selecting each piece, I pay attention to how it looks not only in a photograph, but on a real person.

The balance.

The scale.

The way the stones catch natural light.

The way the metal sits against the skin.

And most importantly, whether it feels effortless to wear.

Because to me, jewelry should never feel like a costume.

It should feel like part of you.

More Than Jewelry

I believe jewelry is not there to turn a woman into someone else.

It simply brings a little more attention to the beauty that is already hers.

Maybe you wear it for a first date.

A new job.

A trip to a city you have never visited before.

A dinner with someone you love.

Or maybe there is no special occasion at all.

Maybe it is just an ordinary morning, and you decide that today you want to wear something beautiful for yourself.

That is the feeling I hope Deshani can become part of.

Not jewelry you wait for someone else to give you.

Jewelry you choose because you want to.

Jewelry for the Life You’re Already Living

Deshani is created for women who can be soft and strong at the same time.

Women who love beauty, but do not need to be defined by it.

Women who work, travel, date, celebrate, change, grow, and continue becoming more themselves.

We are not here to tell you who to be.

We are simply here to add a little light to the life you are already creating.

Wear it for yourself.
Shine in your own way.
